PEN Georgia is proud to announce a new creative writing and storytelling workshop designed for young Georgian creatives (filmmakers, bloggers, podcasters, fiction writers, scriptwriters, poets, animators, etc.). In this course, we will explore the following questions: How to make sense of this world? Where do we fit in relation to those around us? And what right do we have to describe this world, to put a name to things that are unsaid? Through writing and discussion, this course will encourage participants to view the world around them with new and different eyes and to see the ordinary from a different point of view. The course is open to Georgian citizens 18 and older and will be taught in English by Joe Crescente, an American writer and teacher offline in Tbilisi in April and May. The application consists of a short essay, an example of your writing, and a few questions. The application deadline is Sunday March 24 at 23:00 (Tbilisi time). Cost of the workshop:150 GEL.
